MAQUINARIA MADRID, S.A. carries out some work of recovery and conservation of the historic  heritage of the machine-tool in order to preserve this heritage of the past for the present and future generations.

In our Museum you can see all time and ancient tools for coining mortise and punching machines, scale models and antique objects as typewriters, or precision pieces.

In our collection we have manual lathes. The origin of lathes, is known dating back to 850 BC since then, they have gone through various upgrades, Leonardo da Vinci in the fifteenth century designed a lathe that was impossible to do at that time due to lack of means, but that served as guidance for future lathes up to the present.

The origin of the threading dating back to prehistoric times. For centuries, the huge wood screws were used in large presses for the  manufacture of wine or oil. But its mass  production did not start until the middle of the 19th century
